And we have two dessert ingredients<br \/>\nin confrontation! On this side of the ring, we have the current champion of<br \/>\nhigh carb: all-purpose flour! And on the other side of the ring, we have<br \/>\nthe gluten-free, low-carb underdog: almond flour! And almond flour wins! Now that&#039;s what you get for going AGAINST it<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>THE GRAIN! \u2026against the grain, because\u2026 \u2026almond flour is like no grain,<br \/>\nwheat flour makes\u2026 Hey munchies! Welcome if you\u2019re new, I\u2019m so happy to have you here! I\u2019m Alyssia, and today I\u2019m sharing some low carb desserts. The holiday season is coming and many people are looking for treats<br \/>\nthat might be a little healthier \u2013 so they\u2019re great for anyone with a<br \/>\nlow carb lifestyle, or just if you&#039;re looking for treats<br \/>\nno refined sugar or gluten! And they&#039;re great for any time of year.<br \/>\nyear. First up: Almond Butter Cookies! Combine almond butter, egg, erythritol or<br \/>\na sugar alternative of your choice and salt using a mixer until creamy and<br \/>\nwell incorporated. If desired, mix in some cocoa nibs or you<br \/>\nyou can use unsweetened chocolate chips. Feel free to omit the chocolate if you prefer,<br \/>\nbut I like the texture! Place the dough balls on a baking sheet,<\/p>\n<p>\nget redirected here click here get this deal<\/p>\n<p>I used a cookie scoop and lightly press the cookies together.<br \/>\nlittle to flatten. Bake until they start to brown and<br \/>\nThey will also harden a bit as they cool. Enjoy! These are so crispy, a little chewy in the center<br \/>\nand delicious \u2013 you wouldn\u2019t believe there\u2019s no need for flour,<br \/>\ndairy or refined sugar! Nice! Thumbs up for cookies!! Next up: low carb brownies! Mix together almond flour, cocoa powder,<br \/>\nyeast and salt in a bowl. Combine eggs, erythritol or sweetener of choice, melted coconut oil or grass-fed butter and<br \/>\nvanilla extract in another bowl. Add the dry to the wet. Transfer the batter to a large pan, OR I chose to use this silicone pan for<\/p>\n<p>perfectly portioned brownies. Tap down to remove any air bubbles and then<br \/>\ntransfer to the oven. Bake them and let them cool. I love this mold because each bite has my<br \/>\nfavorite part: the crispy crust! No dairy, gluten or sugar in a light and<br \/>\ncute? Combine almond flour, one egg, canned pumpkin,<br \/>\nliquid sweetener of choice \u2013 I used a fiber syrup and honey alternative,<br \/>\nwhich I&#039;ve listed below, but any liquid sweetener would work here, just remember that you&#039;ll need a non-sweetener variation.<\/p>\n<p>low carb sugar \u2013 cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda<br \/>\nand salt. Mix until a thick dough forms. Transfer the mixture to a floured surface and shape into a square about 1 cm in diameter.<br \/>\nthickness. Cut this square into four and then diagonally<br \/>\nto create 8 right triangles. Bake in the oven until they begin to brown<br \/>\non top and brown, but not mushy. While they&#039;re baking, make your maple glaze! I used an unsweetened confectioners&#039; sugar \u2013 make your own or I linked one below \u2013 along with some milk, maple extract, and a<br \/>\npinch of salt. When the scones are out of the oven, drizzle some of this delicious glaze over them and<br \/>\nlet it harden on top! SO GOOD! I LOVE these scones, and they are a<br \/>\npumpkin dessert that comes without dairy, sugar and gluten! Very neat!
