Drop some stuff behind you. It really helps. Hi everyone, I&#039;m Megan<br \/>\nMitchell and I are here in the Thrive Market test kitchen. Today I&#039;m going to<br \/>\nshow you how to make Keto fries with fried vegetables. So I&#039;m using Keto approved vegetables. I&#039;m using kale. I&#039;m using eggplant and I&#039;m using zucchini; and<br \/>\nthese chips are featuring three different spices from Primal Palete. I&#039;m<br \/>\nusing their barbecue; I&#039;m also using their garlic and herb, and the new<br \/>\nbae seasoning. I&#039;ll put them on some stuff and it&#039;ll be out of sight!<br \/>\nKiller Keto Vegetable Chips; Let&#039;s Get Started. Alright, I&#039;ll start with my<br \/>\nzucchini. If you don&#039;t have a mandolin, you can cut it by hand; but I<br \/>\nI think it&#039;s a great tool to have. This is a lady oh jam-oh. I have a little<br \/>\nJapanese that I love. Cut the tip. So be careful, this blade is super<br \/>\nsharp and then just chip it. Come on \u2013 like this. All right, when it gets<br \/>\nin the end, don&#039;t be a hero, okay. Just throw it away; you don&#039;t want<br \/>\ncut a nail or a finger, so be very careful. So how good is this, I really<br \/>\nI cut this for my dog Mama because she loves zucchini. Okie dokie, put this in a<br \/>\nbowl \u2013 chips. So the thing about these air fries, you don&#039;t<br \/>\nyou need a lot of oil for the zucchini fries. I just spray the tray for the kale,<br \/>\nI think it&#039;s about a tablespoon of oil for all that kale. So it&#039;s a little<br \/>\nhealthier, it&#039;s a little bit lighter because it&#039;s air fried. But also, these have to be<br \/>\nkind of eaten on the day, they don&#039;t keep very well. So make them, go to keto town<br \/>\nand watch your stories, watch your Maury Pov \u2013 you know what I mean. Keto chip it. So one down, let&#039;s go zuuuuuu\u2026 eggplant. I&#039;m using using Japanese baby eggplant. I felt like the Italian eggplant, you<br \/>\nyou know, that&#039;s a little bit bigger - I don&#039;t know, those are some big fries. Same<br \/>\nthing from before, get started and let&#039;s go. Alright, so that&#039;s the last of my eggplant. Okie-dokie, I&#039;m done with my mandolin. In a bowl, and now for our kale. I&#039;ll clear a space for you to see what I&#039;m doing. So I have kale Dino,<br \/>\nbut you can use kale if you want I want to remove that<br \/>\ninner shank \u2013 the rib, which can be kind of fibrous. Just grab it and rip it off. Let\u2019s do<br \/>\nthis again, it&#039;s so satisfying to me and then I&#039;m going to cut this into<br \/>\nthree inch pieces, or you can shred them if you want. Wow! In a bowl. I&#039;m going to add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and I&#039;m using Primal Palate&#039;s New Bae seasoning, about a teaspoon and this doesn&#039;t need any extra salt or anything. Giveaway. Make sure<br \/>\nmake sure everything is coated and covered. That&#039;s it. For the eggplant,<br \/>\nI&#039;ll use the garlic and the herb - about a teaspoon too, and I don&#039;t need<br \/>\nadd oil to this because I&#039;m going to spray the actual tray, same with the<br \/>\nzucchini. Last but not least, my zucchini, and this is one of my<br \/>\nfavorite seasonings they have, and it&#039;s the Barbecue Rub that looks like a<br \/>\nlittle weird, are you like zucchini barbecue? It&#039;s spicy and it&#039;s<br \/>\nvery good. I like this one. I&#039;ll add pepper, why not? Mix this in and then I&#039;ll<br \/>\nbring my air fryer and show you how to air fry this \u2013 how to air fry this.<br \/>\nfryer in. The one I&#039;m using is from Cuisinart; there are different ones \u2013<br \/>\nexist as baskets, so my time and temperatures are specific to this<br \/>\nmodel. So what I would say is just play around with it;<br \/>\nyour timing may be a little different if you have thicker cut zucchini or<br \/>\nthinner, so keep an eye on it. When you get in, spray your basket; the first<br \/>\ntime I did this I didn&#039;t spray my basket and they got stuck and it was like<br \/>\ngahhh \u2013 turn the tables. So spray your basket and line them up evenly. You<br \/>\nyou don&#039;t want to stack them on top of each other, you just want them in one<br \/>\nrow. This takes a little time, but guess what? When you&#039;re eating these keto chips, it&#039;s all going to be worth it. It&#039;s going to be worth it. You&#039;ll need to do<br \/>\nthis in maybe two or three batches and like I said they don&#039;t last forever. So<br \/>\nair fry, make a snack. Okay for my zucchini I want it at 300 degrees Fahrenheit.<br \/>\nAir fryer. I want to fry them for five minutes, flip them, and then fry them for another<br \/>\nfour to five minutes; but keep an eye on them, and you know what&#039;s cool \u2013 they like to fly around. Haha, they go crazy there!<br \/>\nIt&#039;s going to fly around here, which is good. When you pull the tray out, you<br \/>\nyou know you put them back in. Okay, they fried for five minutes, I<br \/>\nI remove them carefully. You can see some of them flying around, totally fine. Now<br \/>\nwhat I&#039;m going to do is I&#039;m going to go in and turn all of these around. Alright, so turn them around<br \/>\nall and fry them for another four to four and a half to five minutes.<br \/>\nKeep an eye on them; about four minutes in, check on them. They&#039;re starting to<br \/>\nbrown, remove them, the zucchini chips are ready. For the eggplant chips, 300<br \/>\ndegrees also for about four to five minutes and then four to five minutes more. The<br \/>\nkale chips, though, I knocked it down to 250 degrees; and I think I just cooked them<br \/>\nfor about four to five minutes. These were very fast \u2013 super, super fast.<br \/>\nThey look like they are crunchy. Super crunchy, it&#039;s just a great alternative to a chip.<br \/>\nIf you&#039;re craving fries but you have to be Keto. It&#039;s also a great way to use<br \/>\nPrimal Palate spices. I like that they already have the spices ready, I<br \/>\nI don&#039;t have to buy a bunch of spices and mix, mix everything. Okay, let me try one<br \/>\nof these. Do you hear that noise?
