Pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo funciona y qu\u00e9 comer? Este tipo de dieta, utilizada con mayor frecuencia para perder peso, tiene varias ramas, que tienen diferentes restricciones en la cantidad y tipos de carbohidratos permitidos durante el programa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content-text__container\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">En men\u00fas, como el que proponemos al final de este texto, el nutriente principal de la dieta debe ser la prote\u00edna, obtenida de fuentes como la carne, los huevos y los l\u00e1cteos, seguida de las grasas \u201cbuenas\u201d para la salud, como el aceite de oliva. En algunos casos, la grasa incluso supera a la prote\u00edna. La nutricionista Ethel Souza explica que, en una dieta baja en carbohidratos, la ingesta diaria de carbohidratos debe mantenerse por debajo del 20% del total de calor\u00edas ingeridas (en promedio, 20 g de carbohidratos\/d\u00eda).<\/p>\n<h2 data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona una dieta baja en carbohidratos?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wall protected-content\">\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"44\" data-block-id=\"3\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">\u2013 Existen opciones de dieta con restricciones de carbohidratos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as, que pueden ser de 50 g, 70 g o 100 g por d\u00eda, que son restricciones moderadas. Pero la restricci\u00f3n m\u00e1s habitual es de 20 g de carbohidratos al d\u00eda, ense\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"127\" data-block-id=\"4\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">La nutricionista destaca la dieta baja en carbohidratos m\u00e1s famosa: la dieta Atkins, lanzada en los a\u00f1os 70 por el m\u00e9dico estadounidense Robert Atkins, que actualmente cuenta con millones de seguidores en todo el mundo. M\u00e1s recientemente, surgi\u00f3 la dieta Dukan, impulsada por el m\u00e9dico franc\u00e9s Pierre Dukan, tras una adaptaci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo Atkins. Hay otras que aparecen y desaparecen, como Stillman, Whole30, Hyperproteic, Paleolithic y\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/globoesporte.globo.com\/eu-atleta\/noticia\/dieta-cetogenica-corta-carboidratos-e-investe-em-gorduras-para-tratar-doencas.ghtml\">Ceto o Cetog\u00e9nica, una de las m\u00e1s radicales, que reduce el consumo de carbohidratos a 5% y aumenta el consumo de grasas a m\u00e1s de 60%<\/a>. La dieta baja en carbohidratos tambi\u00e9n reduce la retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos en el cuerpo. Cada gramo de gluc\u00f3geno (la reserva de glucosa de nuestro cuerpo) contiene aproximadamente tres gramos de agua, lo que ayuda a explicar por qu\u00e9 es com\u00fan aumentar de peso despu\u00e9s de comer pan y pasta. Con dietas bajas en carbohidratos, como no hay carbohidratos para reponer las reservas de gluc\u00f3geno en el h\u00edgado, el exceso de l\u00edquido se elimina en los primeros d\u00edas de la dieta a trav\u00e9s de la orina. Por otro lado, los individuos diab\u00e9ticos, con enfermedades cardiovasculares, con litiasis biliar e hipercolesterolemia no deben adoptar el m\u00e9todo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"22\" data-block-id=\"17\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">\u2013 Esto se debe a que el consumo de grasas, incluso de buena calidad, aumenta por encima de lo recomendado para estos casos \u2013 explica.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"81\" data-block-id=\"18\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Incluso aquellos que no tienen contraindicaciones deben buscar primero la orientaci\u00f3n de un nutricionista y s\u00f3lo entonces comenzar cualquier dieta, ya sea baja en carbohidratos o no.
