Low Carb Air Fryer Chicken
– Hey guys. Today on Low Carb with
Jennifer, I'm going to show you how to do these.
super crispy fried chicken thighs. It's the most popular recipe
on my blog for a good reason, they are excellent. So be sure to check them out
how to make them right now. Okay, today we're making my super crispy fried chicken thighs. It's one of the
most popular recipes on my blog, so here we go. Let's make four
chicken thighs with bone and skin, and we cut off the excess skin, you know how they can have extra skin on the sides? We cut that off just so that
they get nice and crispy. Let's put them
in our Zip Top bag. You can also use whatever you want, just something that seals that you can shake the
chicken with the seasonings, like Shake 'n Bake. We're also preheating our air fryer. I'm preheating it for about five minutes. So we're going to put our
chicken thighs in the bag. (cheerful music) And now let's put
our seasonings in them. We have half a teaspoon of kosher salt, one teaspoon of smoked paprika, one teaspoon of garlic powder, half a teaspoon of onion powder, and half a teaspoon of oregano. So now we're going to
shake this really well and make sure all of our chicken gets an even coating of seasoning. Okay, we have our air fryer preheated. I'm going to take it out and I'm going to spray it
very well with cooking spray. So now let's
take our chicken thighs and place them
in the fryer skin side down. (cheerful music) My fryer safe
perfectly four chicken thighs. This is a Six Quart air fryer. (cheerful music) Okay. So now they're going to
cook skin side down for 12 minutes. (electronic beep) And we are cooking
at 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Okay, our chicken thighs
were cooking for 12 minutes. So now I'm going to release it
them to the other side, they look good. (cheerful music) Mm. Okay, now we're going to cook them for another 10 minutes until the skin is crispy to your liking. You want to make sure, definitely, that the internal temperature
is 165 degrees Fahrenheit. So let's do another 380 (electronic beep) for 10 minutes. Okay, our chicken thighs are done and oh my gosh, they look amazing. We tested them just to make sure they were at an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
, and they are. Look how crispy they are and
delicious. I just love air fryers. These look fantastic. Look, oh my gosh, they are
so good, let me take a bite and I'll show you
