Low carb chocolate mousse recipe | Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter – 60g (2oz), softened
  • Philadelphia Cream Cheese – 60g (2oz)
  • Cream or sour cream – 90ml (3oz)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Truvia, xylitol, erythritol or other granulated sweetener to taste – 1 tablespoon
  • Chocolate for decoration (optional)

Let the butter sit at room temperature until softened (or blast it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds if you don't have the time)

Mix the butter with sweetener, continue mixing until completely mixed

Add cream cheese, mix thoroughly into a smooth batter

Add cocoa powder, mix thoroughly

Whip double cream and gradually add to the rest of the mixture, mixing well.

Spoon into small glasses and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.

If you have the time, refrigerate for 30 minutes or more – it will taste even better.
