- 500 grams of chopped calabresa sausage

- 1 large bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- Cut the sausage into discs, about 1/3 inch thick. Add olive oil and the sausage to a large skillet and let it cook for about 3 minutes on each side. When it is almost golden, add the onion to sautƩ.
