Low Carb Rules for a Successful Diet

In the Low Carb Rules, we believe that a low-carb, healthy-fat (LCHF) diet is the ideal way for us to eat as humans. The health benefits associated with this lifestyle are numerous and literally awe-inspiring. You’ve probably heard that this is a good way to lose excess weight… and you’d be right!

Here are the low carb rules for those who begin their journey.

Eat when you're hungry. This may mean skipping traditional meals and not snacking.

Stop when you are full. Don't be afraid to leave part of your meal if you are full.

Eat plenty of good fats, moderate amounts of protein and LOW carbs.

Eat real food. Fresh produce, not packaged!

Get quality sleep. Turn off TVs, cell phones, etc., and focus on refocusing.

This is not a diet! LCHF eating is a lifestyle, with a huge community of supportive people.

  • Butter
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Coconut oil
  • MCT Oil
  • Ghee butter
  • Avocado oil
  • Lard / Tallow
  • Eggs, especially the yolks
  • Bacon & Bacon Fat
  • Macadamia oil
  • Full fat cream (double cream or heavy cream)
  • Low-fat cheeses (Low Carb)
  • Homemade high fat sauces including Hollandaise, Béarnaise, Peppercorn Creppery etc.

Low Carb Rules | Eat Lots of These Low-Carb Fruits and Vegetables

  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Cabbage

  • Avocado
  • Celery
  • Zucchini
  • Lettuce
  • Spinach
  • Chard
  • Tomatoes
  • Mushrooms

  • Trans Fats
  • Anything “Low Fat”
  • Beer
  • Juices
