Because let’s be honest, there’s nothing better than a pizza made with flour and a crispy crust. But what if you’re allergic to gluten? Or even any type of flour? Or are you on a restricted diet for whatever reason? Is a good pizza simply an unattainable dream? No, it’s not. There are plenty of ways to make really creative and delicious pizza crusts without going anywhere near flour.
Almond flour is a good base for doughs in general, after wheat flour. This almond flour is the perfect base for a low carb skillet pizza. I already buy ready-made almond flour, but I've also made a lot of it at home. Just put it in the processor and blend it until it turns into flour. You just have to control the time because it doesn't take long to go from flour to butter. A good tip I use when I make it is to put the flour in the oven for a while so it dries out nicely.
