Salty snacks are another thing we come across and are almost irresistible, so why not have a version of low carb snack to at least satisfy ourselves and have a clear conscience regarding our low carb diet ?
It's great to see that some foods can be adapted to our new reality. Ruining everything with one mistake and then feeling guilty about it isn't good at all. Thinking about all these possibilities, we're here with this low carb recipe for you to do at any time of the day as it is very practical, and who knows, you can even freeze it to have it stored and do it in those moments when we are super busy in our day to day and make one of the many tasks of our busy day easier.
Low carb snack | Ingredients
100g of chicken shredded (mine was already seasoned)
100g ricotta cream
1 egg
Cheese for stuffing
Coconut flour for coating (or almond flour)
Low carb snack | How to make
Use the chicken from the day before, mix it with 100g of ricotta cream to add creaminess and add 1 egg to bind the “dough”. Make balls, put the cheese inside and coat in coconut flour (which can also be almond flour) and fry in the electric fryer for 15 minutes. It also works in the oven, but I believe it would take at least twice as long.
One tip is to make it with cream cheese, which will give the same creamy effect to help bind the dough, and the chicken can be shredded to make it even easier to shape, making it possible for low carb snacks to be made in a smaller size.
