THE low carb pancake is for people who turn to a low carb lifestyle to get your sugar cravings under control and lose those extra pounds. I thought I should dedicate this week to some of my Favorite Low Carb Recipes – starting with these delicious pancakes with sour cream low carb.

Breakfast is usually the hardest meal for people to prepare. These pancakes, which have Parmesan cheese as an ingredient, are a great option for breakfast, as long as you add the right filling. Even if you're not restricting carbohydrates, low-carb pancakes are also an excellent option for those who want to get rid of gluten, as they don't contain any grains or flour of any kind. In fact, the list of ingredients in this recipe for pancakes with sour cream is incredibly short. Sour cream, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and seasonings of your choice. That's it. And they're super easy to make.

Low carb pancake | Ingredients for the dough

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 box of milk cream
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • Seasonings to taste

Low carb pancake | Sauce ingredients

  • 1/2 box of cream
  • 1/2 onion (I fried it in ghee butter)
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of cheese (I used gouda, but you can use another)
  • 1 tablespoon of ricotta cream or cottage cheese
  • Seasonings to taste

 

 

Low carb pancake | How to prepare

The preparation part is very simple.

Just mix the eggs, then the cream in the quantity described, the parmesan cheese, add the seasoning you want and the dough is ready, which will be very liquid, just like a traditional pancake.

The next step is to place enough dough in a greased, non-stick frying pan to fill the bottom of the pan. Make as much as you can and add your favorite filling. That's where your inspiration comes in. Set aside.

To make the sauce, sauté the onion and add the cream, grated parmesan, ricotta or cream cheese, and another cheese, preferably yellow (mozzarella, prato, etc.).

Now just spread it over the pancakes and that's it.
