Low carb fish fillet recipe  – Due to its high concentration of nutrients, proteins and vitamins, fish is an extremely healthy food found in nature and can be very beneficial for any diet.

Low carb fish fillet recipe | Ingredients

  • 2 hake fillets
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • Chopped fresh herbs
  • Olive oil, salt and black pepper to taste

Low carb fish fillet recipe | How to prepare

Season the hake fillets with salt, black pepper and lemon juice and let rest for half an hour in the refrigerator.

Grease a small baking dish or ovenproof dish with oil and place the sliced onions in it. Arrange the fish fillets on top and, if desired, sprinkle with some capers.

Pour the ready tomato sauce over the fillets, then drizzle with the coconut milk and sprinkle with the chopped fresh herbs.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for approximately 25 minutes or until the fish is cooked.

Serve immediately with white rice. The fish will be super soft, almost falling apart… delicious!
