Quick and Practical Low Carb Greek Rice

This recipe of low carb greek rice It's very different, obviously we're not going to use traditional rice for this low carb recipe we will use cauliflower, a very healthy food that helps a lot in diet. And with it other super practical ingredients to make our recipe even tastier.

Low carb Greek rice | Ingredients

  • 1 large or 2 medium cauliflowers
  • ¼ chopped green pepper
  • ¼ chopped yellow pepper
  • ¼ chopped red pepper
  • ½ chopped calabresa sausage
  • 1 chopped onion

 Low carb Greek rice | How to prepare

Put some of oil in the pan and place these ingredients to sauté over medium heat.

Meanwhile, wash the large cauliflower and chop it well in a food processor. Set aside.

Season 1 ½ cups water with 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon garlic powder.

Now mix half of the shredded cauliflower into the sausage stew with the peppers and mix well. Once done, add the other half and mix everything again.

Add the seasoned water to the mixture and cook over medium heat.

Tip: Before bringing to a boil, leave the pan covered until the water starts to boil. When the water starts to boil, remove the lid and let the water dry completely. This will help speed up the process and make the result even better.

Another good tip is when the pan is already without the lid, you can separate the low carb greek rice  from the edges of the pan while cooking, this will help the fake rice to be much looser.

Finally, be careful to low carb greek rice  do not dry out too much and stick to the bottom of the pan.
