- 500 g calf liver (alternatively beef liver)
- 1 large onion
- 4 thyme stalks
- 2 sage stalks
- 4 parsley stalks
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Low carb liver recipe | Preparation
- Wash the liver and dry with kitchen paper;
- Clean the liver and cut into pieces;
- Peel the onion and cut into rings;
- Wash and dry the herbs;
- Finely chop the parsley;
- Heat the butter and olive oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden brown.
- Remove the onion and set it aside.
- Place the liver, thyme and sage in the hot pan;
- Fry the liver pieces on all sides.
- Remove the herb sprigs from the pan and salt and pepper the meat;
- Place the onions back in the pan and heat briefly;
- Place the fried liver with onions on two plates and sprinkle with parsley;
